Skin Tag & Mole Removal
A common occurrence among the adult population, skin tags & moles are generally harmless, but can be removed for various reasons.
Overview
Why remove a skin tag / mole?
While skin tags are benign and harmless skin growths, they can cause irritation (against clothing and objects) and be a cosmetic nuisance.
Similar to tags, removing a mole has emotional benefits if they make you feel self-conscious.
Some moles can also be a sign of health problems, and your Consultant may recommend they be removed for ‘peace of mind’ and to reduce the risk of future health problems.
How are they removed?
Our practice uses a Hyfrecator, a low powered device that can destroy many forms of skin blemishes. This is a safe, effective and minimally invasive method that has been used across the globe.
How does the hyfrecator work?

The operation will usually leave a scar. How big and noticeable this will be depends on the exact operation. Most scars fade significantly over the first year.
